About Me

My name is Felecia Young and I have been inspire ing students for 15 years. I am currently a Math 1 teacher North Carolina. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Anderson University, my Teacher Certification and Masters of School Administration Degree both from UNC-Charlotte. I was nominated by my peers as my school's 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year, Upward Bound's 2012 Teacher of the Year,  2013 NCTIES Teacher of the Year, and nominated for the 2015 PAEMST Award.

I am a passionate educator who is in love with education and motivating the un-motivated student to learn math in a fun and creative way. I create innovative and fun lesson and activities that engages my students in learning mathematics.
